Another thing I will say is if you have more of a yellow undertone to your skin the Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Creme De Nude looked like it would be a great dupe for the MAC Paint Pot in Soft Ochre, I don't have the Colour Tattoo but I do have the Paint Pot and after seeing the Colour Tattoo in Boots, they look almost identical to me. I would absolutely agree that after comparing the Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Creme De Rose and the MAC Paint Pot in Painterly that the Colour Tattoo is indeed an excellent dupe for the Paint Pot, and as I said the only real difference I could find was that the Paint Pot does feel thicker and more luxurious than the Colour Tattoo but it didn't make any difference at all to the way the products performed and I would say if you like using Painterly, definitely give the Creme De Rose a go. ✿ There is no difference in colour between both products ✿ My eyeshadow didn't crease using either product ✿ My makeup lasted the same amount of time using both products ✿ My makeup wore the same using both products ✿ My makeup applied the same after using both products as an eyeshadow base ✿ The Paint Pot feels a little thicker and more luxurious ✿ The MAC Paint Pot is £11 more expensive than the Colour Tattoo ✿ There is 1 gramme of product more in the MAC Paint Pot So my findings when comparing the Maybelline Colour Tattoo in the shade Creme De Rose and the MAC Paint Pot in the shade Painterly are.

There is a small difference in the amount of product in each pot with the Maybelline having 4 grammes of product and the MAC having 5 grammes of product but there is £11 price difference which is a lot of money, the Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Creme De Rose is £4.99 and the MAC Paint Pot in Painterly is £16 so a big difference in price.

Apart from the consistency of the products I really cannot tell a difference between the products, as you will be able to see from the photograph above the swatch of the Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Creme De Rose and the swatch of the MAC Paint Pot in Painterly look almost identical there really isn't a difference in colour, the only real difference I could find between the products is that the MAC Paint Pot in Painterly feels a little thicker and luxurious than the Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Creme De Rose.īoth products applied the same and blended out the same, my eye makeup wore well using both products and also lasted well too and when it came time to remove my make up, it looked exactly as it had when I applied it.
